We not only take great care to create unique home care and laundry products that work great and smell exceptional, but we are committed to using cleaning surfactants that are biodegradable, vegetable based and phosphate free as much as we can. And, from the very beginning, we have always tested on good people, not good animals. 100% free of sulfates, parabens, enzymes and phthalates. Sulfates may make more bubbles and enzymes are a natural way to eat away at dirt - but both wear away fabric, causing fibers to fade and deteriorate, which leads to clothing and particularly fine sheets to fall apart. Almost all detergents - including expensive hand washes - contain sulfates and/or enzymes. The Good Home Company detergent is not only safer to use on your fine linens and lingerie - but it is one of the ONLY detergents that is 100% sulfate-free! SULFATES, ENZYMES and OPTICAL BRIGHTENERS clean clothes but will also eat away at clothing fibers. For high end clothing, sheets, quilts, etc. you should NOT use a detergent with sulfates, optical brighteners or enzymes.
OUR FRAGRANCES - When good, quality fragrances are used, it is a wonderful thing! Scent is the strongest memory inducing sense we have and the right fragrance memory has tremendous healing powers. Unfortunately when companies use cheap inexpensive blends it gives all fragrances a bad rap. Our fragrances and ingredients are expensive and high quality - which is why our product is a higher price. Many people with allergies LOVE and USE Good Home - and it is not because of the essential oil content - but the QUALITY of the fragrance.
WHY WE USE COLOR - We use food/cosmetic grade coloring in our products as we think color is pretty and our customers think so too. Our colorants are all food and cosmetic grade and do not stain or alter fabric colors in any way!
