Holiday Table Trees

I actually keep these around the house year-round. Try big flowers like dried marigolds for a fun look.

Materials: Terra-cotta pot, stick, foam tree form, dried sheet moss, dried flowers, glue gun, plaster of paris

Total Cost: $10

Total Time: 1 hour

Directions: Wrap the moss around your tree form using glue or floral wire. Place one end of the stick into the bottom of your tree, like a trunk. Prepare the plaster of paris and pour it into the pot; immediately place the bottom of the tree's trunk into the plaster. Hold it there or place tall books around it to hold the tree in place until hardened. Once completely hardened, begin decorating, working from the bottom up. When done, scent the tree with your favorite oil.
